Arlene Bailey

Hailing from Sallins, County Kildare, Arlene Bailey is a superbly talented singer who has released her second album of infectious, attitude laced country hits. The 12 track album called 'I Am Woman' includes the single 'Nothing On But The Radio' and a heady blend of sweet summer songs of romance and catchy, high energy toe tappers.

Spending her time between Ireland and Nashville, the home of country music, Arlene’s musical influences can be traced back to her performances with visting bands playing in local venues in Kildare when she was aged just 4!

Following early success on the Irish dancing and traditional music circuit, Arlene embraced country music wholeheartedly after some ill-fated accordian lessons! Having released her debut album “Chain Of Love” in 2003, Arlene impressed country music lovers, critics and audiences alike. Since then her influences have developed with her vocal ability and performance experience. Around the time of recording her latest album, Arlene explored the depths of some of the most respected and celebrated female artists in music.

Arlene says “I’ve been listening to the music of Jewel a lot recently, I love her poetic songwriting skill and aspire to be half as talented as her! Shania Twain and Gretchen Wilson’s attitude have been big influences on my vocal performance on this album. The sound has a bit more growl to it!”

This confidence is realised when you hear Arlene sing. Watch this star light up the country music scene…
